NexTV Latin America Road Show 2009
The most important IPTV, Digital CATV and DTH, free-to-air and interactive TV conference of Latin America takes place on November 17 to 19th in Buenos Aires.
NexTV Latin America Summit 2009, organized by NexTV Latam, has over 300 attendees of the leading next-generation TV from Latin America.
Together with free-to-air digital TV and digital cable, a new TV model with interactive advertising is born. Tomorrow, NexTV Latam will gather interactive TV gurus. The developer of the Brazilian digital TV system middleware Ginga-J, Carlos Batista (de la UFPB de Brasil) and the worldwide interactive free-to-air TV, Rob Glidden (TQTVD), will be present.
Anne Dirske, S&T, IMPALA, will lecture about MHEG-5 system, utilized by Great Britain. Anthony Smith-Chaigneau, Managing Director & SVP Business Development Alticast, also will participate in today's NexTV Latin America Summit 2009. Anders Erlandsson, Senior Advisor ConsumerLab Ericsson AB Business Unit Multimedia, will deliver and speech about what the consumers expect about its TV experience.
The analysis of the Brazilian digital TV system implementation in South America will be carried out on Thursday and will be led by Osvaldo Nemirovsci, coordinator of the Argentine Terrestrial Digital TV System. Moreover and Jean Vargas, from the Peruvian ATV, will lecture. As for Argentina, representatives of free-to-air channels: Eduardo Bayo, from Canal 13; Adrián Fernández, from Telefé; Juan Carlos Guidobono, from América TV and Oscar Nunzio, from TV Pública.
